  1. St Vaux's Well, Ballytrent.
About five miles to the North - East of Wexford there is a holy well called St. Vaux's.
It is situated in a place called Ballytrent. It is surrounded by a low - size wall with a gap in the side of it They say that in olden times an old beggar who had his leg broken went to St. Vaux's Well to get cured and he came away without his crutches and afterwards his crutches were found near a tree by the holy well. Long ago Rounds were made there every year but they are not made there now.
