  1. I know of one particular instance in Abbey St. I went to see my brother who was ill. I remained late, then suddenly we heard the awful crying or keening outside. We saw the shadowy form gliding under the windows. As she does not follow our family we were not alarmed. But a man died in the street that very night.

  2. A woman named Roche had died in a house in the morning. When her daughter went out she saw on the window a silver comb, and she took it. That night the "Bow" was on the window all night and the next night the same thing happened. Next day she asked the priest to come and bless the place that the "Bow" might go away, but the priest told her to put back the silver comb on the window and she would go away.
