  1. There is a well in Ardcandrisk about four miles from Wexford which is dedicated to St Ivo. The waters of this well are supposed to cure sore eyes. The legend goes that St Ivo, a beautiful young girl was going along the road. A young man admired her eyes and she plucked them out and threw them away and where they fell the well sprang up. The pattern of Ardcandrisk is held on the 16th December.
