  1. Not far from the village of Oylegate is Saint Davids Well. Nearby is a statue of Saint David. It is protected by walls which are nearly falling. If one has the intention of getting cured that person must visit this well nine times and each time apply the water to the affected part of the body. There were never any former names on the well. When cured at this well the pilgrim must leave an offering such as a medal,scapular and prayer book etc. There is special pilgrimage to the well. Men offer the same as women.
