  1. The church in the Deer Park Kildavin, Murrintown Barony of Forth Wexford was burned by Cromwell. The ruins can still be seen and in them still remains the stone Holy Water font which was used in the church.
    Cromwell is supposed to have partly destroyed Johnstown castle near Murrintown and to have given it to one of his soldiers in payment
    During the Rebrllion of '98 soldiers going from Duncannon to Wexford raided Keatings of Dennistown Murrintown
