  1. There is a Rath in the vicintiy of Trinity churchyard. It is circular in shape and about nine feet high, slightly hollow in the centre. From what we have heard from old people singing and dancing go on among the inhabitants of the Rath every Sunday morning between one and three o'clock.
    The inhabitants are a very small race, about two feet high. The men are dressed in red caps, red coats, white trousers and long boots. The women wear short red skirts and white blouses.
