  1. Mr Aidan Kearns Kilmannon was a great man for making Plasters. These Plasters were made from herbs, and were used to cure different ailments.
    Another great man in our district was Mr. Thomas Byrne. He cured warts, and he was also able to stop anyone from bleeding to death.
    Another great old doctor was Mrs. Ann Hayes Kilmannon. She made a wash from "Woodbine" to cure the Thrush.
