  1. Hidden Treasure
    In ancient times the people were very wealthy, ad as they had no banks in which to secure their money for safety they used to hide it.
    It is said that there is gold hidden in the old castle of Kilmannon which was supposed to be hidden there when the castle was built by some person from that locality. It was never known that any[body] looked for the money because it was foretold that if anyone dared to search for it the castle would fall.
