- I have a churn at home. The barrel of it is about four feet high and it is on a wooden stand.
The top and bottom are the same width :- both about two and a half
The sides are round and there is a piece of iron on the bottom of the barrel which balances it.
The parts of the churn are :-
the stand, the barrel, handle, cover and the rubber which keeps the milk from leaking.
There is a round bit on the cover and it is through this that it is known when it is done.
