    off some time ago
    It was a real ideal treat,
    they are but very few
    The bride she hailed from sweet
    Kilkenny and her name was
    Miss O Maher
    Her husband came from Adamstown,
    Bob Whitty from Rahard.
    Oh they are giving invitations
    to the gentry all around
    to Ballymitty, Ballinglee likewise to Arnestown.
    Theres none but the real nobility
    as you may understand, servants
    are objected to or people without
    land, but Lizzie must remember
    and think of days gone by for
