    the bread and started off. He travelled for some time. He happened on a farmer by the name of Connelly.
    Anyone that went to this place never came back alive so Jim hired with him until the cuckoo would cuck and the bargain was if Jim got sorry inside of that time Connelly was to take thee cleps of flesh down off his back. Jim was to do the same if Connelly got sorry. He sent him out the next day with a pair of horses and a plough and a greyhound. He said he should plough in a day what the hound would jump over.
    When Jim went to the field the hound jumped over two acres.
    Jim ploughed until he got weary so he came into Connelly's yard.
    Connelly came out "Well Jim, how did you get on" "O, said Jim, "I would not be able to plough that in three days" "I suppose you are sorry," said Connelly, "Indeed I am" said Jim so he got the knife and took the flesh off.
