There are many kinds of local cures in this district. Most of them have been handed down from the old people. Long ago when there were no doctors the people used to have cures of their own.
These are some of the cures they used to have. If any person who would happen to strain their ankle some member of the family would get a piece of chicken-weed and tie it around the ankle.
