- The Church field is situated near the hill of Carrig. It is called the church field because there was once a church there
Mr Furlong's house which is there at present was built out of some of the stones of the church. There was a grave yard near it and there are some water pots to be seen there still. The holy water pot was used by some people to feed animals but it went back to its place each night and so it remained there.- Informant
