  1. A story is told about Dunbrody Abbey. A monk was out walking one evening in the garden saying his rosary. He herd a rabin singing sweetly in a tree. He went to listen to her and he followed her about from tree to tree. He never felt the time passing and when he came back to the Abby he found it in ruins.
A hundred years had passed and he thought it was only a day. He went to a man who lived nearly and he asked what had happened. He told him that the Abby was plundered by soldiers. People saw the old monk and were afraid to go near him.
