  1. There is a rath situated in the townsland of Carrownree. It is situated on the farm of Mr Sutton. Fairies used to live here long ago. There is a rath situated in the townsland of Rathimney hence the name of Rath céim an fhiadh. Nothing can be seen of this rath only a green plateau in the field which is never tilled. A farm in Drealistown contains a rath. One day a man was weeding in the field and he heard people singing and talking quiet near him, he looked around but he saw nothing. He got afraid and went home quickly.
