    and he proceeded to say Mass. Paddy was spellbound. When Mass was over the friar disappeared Paddy went home and a cold perspiration broke out all over him When he reached home he went to bed and he never recovered till he died.
    It was never known that a priest was asked a question at Mass. Old people sat that Mass bells were heard in the Conubar Dunmain Gusserane, new Ross, Co Wexford.
    Two old men named Sparrow lived between Dunmain and Knockea They always attended daily Mass and fasted during Lent till old age and infirmaty set in. Anyone that did a wrong deed were made fast for a week. I donth know of stories connected
