    "Three-Bullet-Gate"
    New Ross
    --Boland (whose great grandson lived at the back of the school here and died in the workhouse New Ross about 30 years ago)
    Boland took three men to keep him in guns-no sooner did he get a gun than down came a yeoman. He was a marvellous 'shot'
    He is buried in Ballycullane graveyard in the S.W. corner The '98 Commemoration Committee hope to mark his grave with a stone worthy of such a hero.
