  1. When Our Lord was born, angels and little children used visit Him and bring flowers and gifts. A little worm lay hidden in a corner. He was very sad as he had nothing to offer the little Child. He was even sadder when the Wise Men gave Him their gifts. The divine child looked pityinly at the worm. Just then a girl entered with a bunch of flowers. A lovely lily dropped to the ground. The worm picked it up and gave it to the child. The child smiled and took the flower.
