  1. Lucky and unlucky days.
The following poem tells the lucky and
    unlucky days for marrying.
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
Wednesday the best day of all.
    Thursday for losses
    Friday for crosses
Saturday is no day at all.
The following poem tells the days of birth.
Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving
Thursday's child must work hard for a living
Friday's child is full of woe.
Saturday's child has far to go.
The child who is born on the Sabbath day is bonny, bright, happy and gay.
It is unlucky to white wash in May.
A person burying on a rainy day is said to go straight to Heaven.
Who ever marries while the sun shines is always sure to be happy.
