  1. These are proverbs I heard at home and from people.
    A stitch in time saves nine.
    A rolling stone gathers no moss
    Never put off till to-morrow what you can do to-day.
    A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
    Live horse and you will get grass.
    Far away cows wear long horns.
    Many hands make light work
    Little strokes fell great oaks.
    There is no hearth like your own hearth
    Birds of a feather flock to-gether
    Kindle the dry sticks and the wet ones will catch.
    Too many cooks spoil the broth
    The best hurler is always on the ditch
    Better late than never.
    As white as snow.
