  1. A few years ago I was at the mummers dance. There were twelve men in the set and they were dressed nicely. I was not long in the house when they got out on floor and started dancing and they were beautiful to see. Then the Captain got out on the floor and said his rhyme. He started with,
    "Here I am the Captain bold
    I lead no rebel throng
    But a chosen band of heroes Grand
    To Fethard we do blong
    Then the Grand Signore and Julius Caesar got into a row and one knocked out the other. The Captain called the doctor and the doctor got out on the floor and said,
