  1. There was a rogue one time and he stole a cow form a farmer. The cow had (?)-up horns, and the man drove home the cow before him.
    And when he got home he baked a cake.
    And when he had the cake baked he cut it in halves and put half on each of the cow's horns and softened them and turned them down.
    The man that owned the cow went to the other man's house.
    And he said, "I could swear that was my cow, only my cow had (turned?) up horns, and your's has turned down horns.".
    So the rogue stole one other cow another time from another man.
    This cow had a short tail and the man killed another cow.
    He cut the tail off and put half on the other cow's tail.
    And he went to the fair to sell the cow.
    The man that owned the cow came
