  1. Once upon a time there was a man and he was walking along the road. He was wanting to light his pipe and he went into a house.
    When he went into the kitchen he saw no one but a dead man lying on the table.
    He went over to the fire to light his pipe.
    There was a big pot boiling on the fire. He stuck the poker in the (?) of the (cover?) and lifted it off. He saw a big piece of meat boiling in the pot.
    Then he went over to the dresser and got a (fork?).
    He took up the piece of meat and put it under his (coat?) and ran out in the door as fast as he could.
