    About half a mile outside Edgeworthstown thre is a high moat...

    About half a mile outside Edgeworthstown there is a high moat with trees growing all around it, which is called moat a word, the way the trees are growing around it, that you would think there was some sort of a division all around the moat to stop the enemies from getting into it.
    There is only one small entrance to this moat and it is that it is very hard to distinguish it at the present time.
    Once upon a time about six or seven years ago a local tradesman gathered five or six men to go to this moat to excavate it and to see what the would get operations went on very well until one of the men dug his way to a road of steps, when he got to rest of steps he had a big iron bar in his hand and as he was about to go about to go down to the steps the bar was pulled out of his hand
