  2. Michael Gannon, a native of Lisnagrish father of the present John Gannon was going to the fair of Mullingar one morning with a cow. When he reached a place called "Andy Logan's Hill" two and a half miles out side Edgeworthstown the cow stopped and would not pass by this place.
    No matter what he did he fails to get the cow past so he had to return home.
