    The well field so called because there is a well in it.
    The flax hill so called because there was flax grown in it long ago
    The hill of the wood so called because it was a wood formerly
    The wood bottoms so called because there is low lying land underneath the wood.
    The slough so called because it is swampy land.
    The whinny field so called because there are a lot of whins growing in it.
    The long field so called because it is the longest field we have.
    The beacon so called because there were fires lit in it long ago.
    The slough field so called because it is a wet field.
    The fort so called because there were trees growing in it formerly but they are cut out of it now and the place they grew in is a shallow hole now.
    The calf park so called because it is a most convenient field for calves.
    The clover so called because it produces magnificent clover.
    The big field so called because it is the biggest field we have containing about nine or ten acres.
    The little garden so called because it contains only one rood
    Charleys park so called because probably some man the name of Charlie owned it.
    "Cor na Greine" so called because it is a sunny field.
    Jack's garden so called because probably some man of the name Jack owned it.
