    A party of boys were walking to Mass one Sunday. They were still a mile from the Church when the bell rang. One said "Boys we'll wat to be tightening," and ever since when people are in a hurry they say "As Pat Brady says we'll want to be tightening.
    A man was buying cattle. He remarked "One of them is very small and he looks old." "Oh", said the seller, "little dogs have long tails." Ever since when people see things which are not in proportion, they say, "As John Machugh says 'little dogs have long tails.
