    and elastic boots with elastic sides on them and no laces. There was a man one time and he had red feet. This is an old saying:- "Although she dresses in clogs and shawl, still she is the fairest of them all."
    The old men used to wear fine shoes on Sundays and brogues on the weekdays and the women used to wear boots, but they used to go barefooted in the Summer. I there was a wedding they used to throw an old brogue after the bride.
