  1. Mrs Greene has a cure for burns it is a kind of white ointment which she makes herself, and it has to be melted first before it is put on the burn. It is made out of herbs which grows wild in the fields, and she mixes them with other materials which she buys in the doctors shop.
    She lives at Oldtown Ardagh Co Longford. There is also a man named Mr Tremble which lives on Ardagh mountain who has the cure for jaundice.It is a liquid of a black colour and has a very ugly taste, it is maid from different things It has to be taken before or after each meal's. In Longford about 20 years ago there was a man the name of John O Connor who had the cure for ringworm it was a prayer he said to cure any person who went to him who wanted to be cured.
