  1. There are dungeons with stone flaged floors underneath Bridge Street with stone seats jutting out of the walls and hold fasts with rings on them about waist high where the prisoner could sit and be chained. There were built about 200 years ago. The room itself holds a circular roof and is about 15 ft high and the same breath. They are still there to be seen and very few people know of them. There is a rumour of a tunnell leading from the old castle to the rectory.
