  1. There is a man named Byrne who comes each year from Sligo to Arva. Every (year) evening he goes out in a boat on Hollybank lake and sets up to a dozen lines in the lake. Every morning he goes out about six o clock and he gets up to forty dozen eels on his lines. He never missed one year since he began. He started this enterprise about ten years ago and has continued it for the past years.
