  1. One time there was a man and he was very lazy. He was employed by another man to dig a well. When he had the well about four feet deep he sank the tools beside the well left his coat beside them put his hat on the top of the spade ran away behind a ditch and hid. The people going by thought that the well had fallen in on top of him and started to dig in order to get him. When he thought the people had the well deep enough he came out from where he had been hiding and thanked the people for their trouble.
