    to stay there. The priest then went home. Next morning the people went down to the priest, asking him to put away the man. The priest put him between the foam and the water of Gurteen lake for seven years. The man said that after seven years woe to McCarty. Then the priest shouted for ever and ever. In a short time the priest died, and three men were drowned in Gurteen lake.
