    Once upon a time there lived a great Scotch giant. Anyone who ever fought with him fell dead by his hands. An Irish giant heard of his deeds and he said he would have a fight hand to hand with him. Now the Scotch giant's wife was a very clever woman. She thought her husband would be killed and she formed a plan. She put the Scotch giant to bed and she said she would tell the Irish giant when he would come that the Scotch
