    Noggins were the usual vessels used before cups and the people used to hold the milk in pigons, and they also used to have cups for lifting the buttermilk out of the churn.
    When people would not have new milk long ago to eat with porridge they would steep oaten meal in hot water and eat it with the porridge. This was called sounds.
    My mother told me this information and she is years.

    There was a match played between Granard and Lisryan in John Harte's field of Toneywarden.
