    because the day St. Patrick made the well was very hot. They made the fire at the right hand side of the well while facing Bonlahy because St. Patrick faced Bonlahy and stood the same side of the well while making it. These customs are not carried on nowadays.
    St Bernadette's well is in Granard grotto. It is plastered all around and if the people have teethaches they go to it and dip their fingers in the water and rub them to the teeth that are paining them and then they make the sign of the cross and they are cured.
    My uncel Michael Cunningham told me this information an he is 39 years.
