The High Garden got its name because it is small and is up on high ground.
The Bottom got its name because a river is running through it
And the Road Field is so called because the road is running one side of it.

  2. The local names of the fields in our farm at home are as follows.- The Long Field, The Bush Field, The Field beyond the Garden, The Old Meadow, Pairc Cam Field, The Cock's Field and the Lane Field.
The Long Field is so called because it is a very long and narrow field. The Bush Field is so called because there are two very old bushes grown in the centre of the field.
The Field beyond the Garden is so called because it is situated behind the Garden.
