  1. St Stephan's Day is a day of great amusement in this country as the young people go around hunting the wren.
    The first thing those "wren boys" as they are called do is to dress themselves up for the occasion.
    This dress varies sometimes a suit is made up of an old bag and sometimes the boys dress themselves up as woman.
    Their faces are covered with what is known as false faces.
    This false face is sometimes home made from a piece of old cloth with eyes and mouth cut out of it and there is hair sewn on the bottom of it so as to make a whisker.
    Sometimes they are bought in the shops.
    Those false faces that are bought in the shops are much better than the home made ones as they fit much better on the face and they
