    Charletons Folly
Charletons Folly is situated between Ballinalee and Edgeworthstown. It was built by a very rich man named Charleton but it was not finished owing to death of owner. It is a ruin now and cattle seek the shade in summer within its walls. Charleton was a very rich man and every labourer in Co. Longford that would get married would get 15 to £20
