  1. There was once a man coming home from visiting in Ballinlough.
    When he came as far as Cosgrove's on the Dalystown a big collie dog leaped across the wall and leaped in again.
    Then a big animal with one eye in the middle of his forehead came out & put his head into the trap & came on with them as far as Phil Reilly's gate & then disappeared. When they came home that night the pony was all covered with froath & was never any good until he died.
