    In the sweet Co. Leitrim
    A virgin did dwell.
    Her father was reared
    Near the town of Clonmel.
    III
    She married a man
    At the age of eighteen.
    And the worst breed of people
    You ever yet seen.

    He is Bell from Drumcarbon
    You all know him well
    On the 12th of July last
    His soul went to hell.
