    That stands tall and thin with the roads at it's feet.
    How often do I ramble far up on it's summit,
    And gather rasberry and wild meadow sweet.
    So memory, my chains brings my heart to old Erin.
    With links that will break not nor never grow rough
    Enlighten and cheer my life's dreary pathway
    And call me back to far famed Rosduff.
    They remind me again of the still summer evening.
    When I stood on the bridge
    Inhaling sweet air.
    And watch the sunset disappear in the distance
    And gazed on the face of Lough Gowna's fair.
    O friend happy friends and true hearts were near
    To share all my joys
    which were then fair enough
