  1. At first I would get a bag and put a hoop in the mouth of it to keep it open. After this I would get a long pole to beat the river.
    I would go to the river then and set the bag with its mouth facing the flow of the water. I would take the pole then and go a short distance above the place where I would have the bag set and beat the river down as far as the bag. I would lift the bag and the fish would be in the bottom of it.
