Boys and girls play many games at home and at school whenever they get the chance. Boys play different games from those which girls play. The boys enjoy themselves by playing "football" "Handball" "Running" "Jumping" make "Bird Cribs" and many other games. Girls enjoy themselves by playing "Tig" "Skipping" "Hide and Seek" "Wich in the well" "Coroners" "Colours" "Hawk" Round the green gravel the grass grows green","Swinging", "See-Saw" and "Black-berry picking." Children pass many an idle hour at night by the fireside, giving out each other riddles, or by getting something and hiding it and asking the other to try and find it. Sometimes when there are a few children in a house they play "School" or "Shop".
