In the townland of Clombrack there lived a man known as Oxter Connor by (knick name) He ran from Granard to Eden Hill when followed by a man who was riding on horseback known as Barnoy Constable in them times. His own name was Morrison. When Morrison came to Eden Hill, Connor jumped from behind the ditch and said "From sea to sea with you" and ever since its a common saying "From sea to sea said Oxter Connor".
