"Brides drink". All the neighbours of the district were invited with the exception of three families. Those families would go out dressed up in straw and they were called "ban beggars". The boys and men that were invited to the feast brought with them a bottle of whiskey each. They enjoyed a good night eating and drinking.
The next day the "hauling home" took place. The young boys of the district went to her father's house and brought home the delph, furniture and bed-steads. Then this finished the marriage.
