    Bunlahy.
    An old man would come the second day of the fair to sell gooseberries. He had three men employed to help him sell them. Each of them had a basket of gooseberries and a pair of scales to weigh them.
    Buyers came from Derry and Monaghan to buy cattle and horses. The buyers were dressed in cream-coloured leather coats and carried cane sticks.
