  1. I am living in the townland of Shanmullagh, in the Parish of Drumlish and in the Barony of Killoe. There are seventeen houses and sixtynine people in it. Reilly's are most common in Shanmullagh. There are six slated houses newly built and eleven thatched houses. The meaning of Shanmullagh is "Old Summits". There are four old people over seventy years of age living in it. There are ruins of two old houses in it. One family went to America and the other died. The land is arable, moor, rocks and bog.
