  1. I live in the townland of Fardromin in the parish of Drumlish. It is in the Barony of Killoe. There are 40 families in it and 170 people. The most plentiful names are Gorman's, Lennon's and Cassidy's. They are all old houses with the exception of two, William Prunty's and John Sorohan's. There are about 14 over 70 years old. There are about 20 old houses gone out of Fardromin. Some of the land is good and more of it is bad.
