  1. One moonlight nigh Tom Reilly of Kiltycreevagh went out to mow a meadow of his own. When he was mowing a while a strange man came into the meadow with a scythe. He said to Tom good luck to the work. The man started to work with Tom and they cut every other swathe until the meadow was finished. When it was finished Tom asked him up to the house for tea. He would not go up and the next day when Tom went down to the field only every second swathe was cut.
